Medicina veterinară nu trebuie să fie un privilegiu
Multe animale nu ajung niciodată la un medic veterinar. Nu pentru că nu au nevoie, ci pentru că oamenii lor nu își permit. Asta schimbă TAC.social. Oferim îngrijire veterinară animalelor singure, celor din comunități vulnerabile și celor cu proprietari care nu își permit tratamentele de care animalele au nevoie. Suntem prima organizație de medicină veterinară socială din România - un model pe care l-am construit pentru ca tratamentul să nu depindă de bani.
Lucrăm pentru o țară fără animale singure, în care câinii și pisicile au acces la medicină veterinară fără grija banilor. Cu credința că atunci când animalele sunt sănătoase și au o viață demnă, oamenii trăiesc mai bine și zâmbesc mai des.
Ajută-ne să rămânem lângă pacienții noștri și să ajungem la cât mai multe animale.
WHAT WE DO
Veterinary practice
From Monday to Friday, we are at cabiTAC, an innovative form of social service, since Romanian legislation has not yet thought about social services provided to animals. The veterinary office belongs to the association. At cabiTAC there is only one kind of price: social, ie 20-300% lower than the usual prices of the veterinary market.

We go where local governments and communities call us who want to take care of their animals with intelligence and compassion. We can be invited by town halls and local councils, animal protection associations, local action groups, ordinary people. As far as the funds we have, we go wherever we are needed.
Advocacy for pets
We carry out important advocacy work, so that the legislation dedicated to animals becomes a living, respected tool in Romania as well. We start from the reality that people's lives
it is deeply linked to animal life. Our achievement: the complete elimination of mounting ads on the OLX platform.
Medical education
We are a small school of future veterinary professionals; we have created and are developing the Aripi volunteer program, for young doctors, in Romania and abroad. We want tomorrow's professionals to be better than today's professionals. We teach sterilization surgery, our specialty. We make the effort to bring social veterinary medicine to the attention of the veterinary academic world.
Communication for education
We write the stories of our work so that people can find out: what life is like for pets in Romania and abroad; what veterinary medicine means and what its value is for the community; what is the importance of professionalizing the field of animal welfare . We believe that we can only change what we understand deeply.
Medical volunteering
Occasionally, we work voluntarily in countries poorer than ours, where the situation of the animals is worse. So far, I have volunteered in Thailand, India and Africa as volunteers for Soy Dog , WorldWide Veterinary Service and Simabo . During these volunteer internships, we learn ourselves or are mentors to younger colleagues.
