Free medical program for good dogs

We created this program in 2019, a few months after our debut on the Donate with Pago platform, where the Pago company and donors confirmed our trust in people, which is also the TAC slogan: We love animals and we believe in people .

In just three months, we raised 16,000 lei, and the creation of a separate program dedicated to dogs was our way of thanking.

In 2020, we participated again in the "Donate with Payment" competition and, after the selection made by the jury, then thanks to your votes, we were admitted to the platform for the second consecutive year. Argos is now one of two TAC programs. for which we raise funds through Donate with Pago .

WHAT THE PROGRAM INCLUDES

and eartags (if the animal returns to where it was taken), recorded microchip (if temporarily housed until adoption or even adopted).

What dogs can come in

in the program

Single (community) dogs found and brought to our office by private individuals, who will then take care of either the accommodation or adoption of the dogs , or the restoration

in their territory;

Community dogs in the vicinity of tenants' associations, companies, schools, etc., when they agree with the return to the territory of neutered and marked dogs;

Dogs already in the care of a person or group of people, not legally organized * as an association, foundation, etc .;

Dogs with owner, when the owner is in a precarious financial situation because he is:

  • unemployed;

  • pensioner, with a pension of less than 2000 lei / month;

  • employee, with a net salary of less than 2000 lei / month;

  • beneficiary of social assistance;

  • family member with only one maintenance worker;

  • member of a family with a disabled person;

  • student;

  • inhabitant of a rural area.

* From #solidaritateTAC , we offered 10 free sterilization operations to our partners - animal protection associations in Cluj-Napoca or nearby. In addition, TAC already provides subsidies to partner associations, and they permanently benefit from reduced prices, lower than the social prices charged at the TAC office.

What dogs can not enter

in the program

  • Dogs that have been purchased , regardless of the reason for the purchase ;

  • Dogs with a certificate of origin issued by the Romanian Kennel Club or similar entities, from other countries (dogs with pedigrees);

  • Dogs whose owners have a satisfactory financial situation, which allows them to use the services of a regular veterinary medical institution;

  • Dogs already in the care of an animal protection association or in the care of a public shelter.

What documents are required for registration

No act. Our entire work system is based on individual responsibility and trust in the other.

For program records and work reports to donors or funders, we will only ask you to fill out a simple form that justifies your entry into the program.

We are sorry that you are in a delicate financial situation, as we are glad if you are a man who helps community animals regularly and therefore do not cope with the expenses. In any case, the data you entrust to us by filling in the form are secure and will only be made public as statistics, without individual details.

Lili the dog

Lili was adopted by Dr. Raluca, from a public shelter, and passed away almost unexpectedly at the same time as the founding of our association.

We encourage you to adopt dogs from public shelters, where they live poorly and go unnoticed, by the hundreds, every day. Romania has about 70 public shelters, with activity deeply marked by incompetence, cruelty, theft, corruption.

The Argos program offers free sterilization of dogs at the TAC veterinary office. from Cluj-Napoca, if they belong to one or more categories, detailed below.

Before you sign up - you or someone else who can't use your computer - please make sure you read and understand the terms of the program. We rely on good faith

of people and their solidarity, that's why you won't need proof of registration. At the same time, we want to use donors' money responsibly and efficiently, as a thank you for their generosity and to honor the trust that our team enjoys.
The form has 8 sections, and it takes less than 5 minutes to complete. After this step, a member of our team will call you for an appointment. Once you arrive at the office as scheduled, you will go through the usual steps in this situation and explain here .
