TAC values. Behaviors, principles, attitudes
Veterinary medicine. Seven years at home, work and humility
We are open, respectful and friendly to anyone. We don't make people feel bad because they don't have money. We are just as polite and smiling with limousine and wagon drivers. We want to be respected as doctors and as animal activists, but we do not want to be feared in the Romanian doctor's tradition of authoritarianism. We do everything we know for the good of animals and the comfort of people. We always learn. When we no longer know what to do, we know who knows more than we do and we honestly recommend our colleagues. We do not shrug our shoulders at helplessness, but put our minds to work for solutions. We take care of the standards of our work, because cheap does not mean bad. We are the first to do what we want the other to do.
Lobby & advocacy. Activism. Rigor.
We understand that in order to resolve the effect, the cause must be repaired. We do it documented and professional. We speak openly, always with consideration for the dialogue partner. We do not respect any opinion, but we listen to them all. We talk openly and balanced about the strengths of our guild, with a critical spirit and dignity. We build solutions. We are looking for partnership and dialogue. We avoid compromises. We discourage conflict, gossip and petty speech.
Communication. Intelligence and naturalness. Solidarity.
We cultivate the professionalism of communication as a field and as a manifestation, because we know that it is missing in our world. We speak and write carefully, but we tend to speak and write so that the Romanian language is really proud of us. We cultivate solidarity in the world of veterinary medicine and animal organizations. We talk about people who do good. We understand the importance of transparency for an organization that feeds on community support. We understand the importance of transparency and honesty in the Romanian social space. We tell the story of veterinarians and NGOs. We enjoy the power of our stories. Our stories can be romanced, but they can't be untrue.
Education. Generosity.
We are the first Romanian organization of social veterinary medicine, but we do not want to be alone. We support anyone who wants to follow our model. We have built and developed a permanent medical volunteer program, because we want to pass on what we know. We believe that social veterinary medicine must come to the attention of the veterinary academic world in Romania. We do what we can to make sure that tomorrow's veterinarians are better prepared than they are today. We share our medical skills, but also our experience and ideas. We cultivate veterinary ethics and social veterinary entrepreneurship.
Team. Effort and empathy.
Our founding team is made up of people who didn't choose each other. It brought us together a bad luck that we decided to turn into luck together. We are firmly convinced that dialogue, sincerity and communication can solve anything. We are constantly learning empathy and attention to the needs of each of us. We strive to put natural personal pride in the interest of the institution we build. We are our biggest critics between us and the team's biggest defenders in front of others. We strive to learn constantly about teamwork and organizational management. We are careful that the interest of our organization does not capture the personal destiny of the team members.
